The Purity of Hooe Spring Water

Steven Newport That said, I have a previous interest in wells, springs, and such and was intruiged by this. Looking on the Ordnance Survey Map (see Streetmap) Hooe is shown nestled to the East-South-East of the river Waller's Haven, and surrounded by water ways, there is no indication of any spring.
However, I believe (because of the title) that what my father was intending to include here was the content of a publication called "The Parish Spring", document reference P382/14/4, whose description is "Correspondence on its cleaning and on the purity of the water supply". This document is held in the East Sussex and Brighton and Hove Record Office (ESBHRO). This has a date-range (?) of Jul 1919-March 1938 and was created by Hooe Parish Council. Looks like I may be making a trip there!
